The CMP Partners will participate in the Plan Development Workshop and will review and approve drafts of the CMP prior to final approval by the Acquisition and Restoration Council and the State of Florida Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund.
The Management Advisory Group (MAG) consists of representatives of stakeholder organizations with an interest in the management of the Babcock Ranch Preserve. The MAG will meet once in August 2007 to provide assistance with identification of important planning considerations and to provide input at the beginning of the planning process that will help guide the development of the ten-year Conceptual Management Plan (CMP). Pandion Systems, Inc. (Pandion) is the contractor selected to write the CMP and facilitate meetings and public input. The Pandion Team includes subcontractors who are providing additional expertise: Water & Air Research, Inc. and Natural Resource Planning Services, Inc. The Pandion Team seeks to create an effective management plan and we believe that stakeholder assistance and public input will be invaluable to helping us achieve that goal.
